The Turtle Grant is a grant program that assists the hearing and speech impaired community of Athens and Northeast Georgia. Our goal is to build a relationship with this community and offer support through grant money and service hours.  The Zeta Pi chapter at the University of Georgia works year round to raise money to fund this program through various fundraisers, the largest being our all you can eat wing dinner on our lawn. Individuals can apply through the application attached, and a committee will decide if he or she fits the requirements. Some recent donations our chapter has been able to provide are a vibrating cheerleading mat to help a young hearing-impaired girl keep up with the beat of the music and 20 sign language dictionaries for Cleveland Road Elementary. We would love to impact as many people as we can so please apply and help us get the word out!
